Freshly Curled and Lovely.....
These are pictures of my locs right after taking rollers out of them, and lightly finger combing.  To set my hair, I use plain water.  I roll them using end papers to protect the ends and keep the loc hairs from snagging.  I rolled these set on Naandi Rollers, which are made of some type of metallic fabric and have foam and pipe cleaners sewed into them.  They are really soft and flexible, so when I rolled these, I had actaully slept in the rollers!  The curl lasts about a week, or longer if you choose.....
I have continued to "tree" the roots of my locs by using the latch-hook, joining two, sometimes three locs.  It's really simple!!  The roots are much stronger, but the ends are loose to style any way I want to.  I'm glad I made my locs as small as I did, because I can always tree them to make them larger...I love my locs!!!
If I get tired of the curly look, I simply spray water on my locs and loosen up the curl...or I get in the shower and completely wet them down...Usually, I try to leave them alone and let the curl loosen up on it's own.....
Normally, I don't curl my hair this tight....I like it much better when the curls are looser and kind of....flow....

This was an exception..a pretty and different one....I think.....
