| Lawana's Kinky Doo's: Update.... I just wanted to give you a quick update on what's going on with my best friend Lawana's dilemma with wearing kinky doo's.... She wore her fro for several weeks....I am sooo proud of her for having the courage to go natural after so many years of using relaxers....After a while though she started freaking out because she thinks she doesn't look good with shorter natural hair...she's wrong...she looks great and has a beautiful crown...but I had a HARD time convincing her of this and still am.....lol.. She is still natural (Thank God) but decided to braid her hair with extensions until it gets to the length she feels comfortable with to wear natural styles....which makes me happy cuz she's STILL completely hair chemical free...whewwww!!! It got sticky for a minute ya'll....lol... So when she gets more length I will put all the beautiful style ideas you all have sent me to use....Thanks so much and keep rooting for my girl, aiight...lol.... ....just me...daez Thank you God for giving me another day of life....Amen..... |
