| My darling SIL Raymon (Popi) bought the family back to Denver to spend New Year's with us and get his loc maintaince done at Sly Salon....so I whipped out the camera and got really busy....lol... |

| Raymon only had his locs twisted once since they moved to Oklahoma by someone at a salon there... He wasn't exactly thrilled with the results, so he took the opportunity of the visit to Denver to get his maintaince.... |

| Popi shaves the hair on the very bottom of the back of his head off...it's cooler for him and keeps the locs from tangling up on his neck and the collar of his shirts.... |

| These pictures were taken about FIVE seconds after they walked in the door...lol.....This is how much new growth he's had since they made the move, because the new loctician didn't exactly ...er...do the right thing with his locs...she twisted them at the roots only, but twisted them the wrong way to the point Sly had to tree a few of them.... **TREE: To join two locs together at the root by palm rolling, twisting, latchooking or banding together with rubber bands so the two locs eventually become one....... |

| These are the pre-maintaince pictures....to me his locs looked fine....and they are really growing!!! They are more compact and tighter....firmer....it kinda freaked me out for a minute...then I remembered how humid it is in Oklahoma....lol... And yes...I'm STILL jealous of his locs...lol.... |

| Sly hooked him up...as usual...lol.....these are after a very good shampooing...a hot oil treatment...treeing of some locs...and palmrolling....nice, huh...makes me wanna go get pampered...shoot...lol.. |

| So Popi's locs are once again healthy and happy...and his visit to Denver was well worth it to get his locs back in shape....I just wonder if he's gonna make that trip everytime he needs maintaince....lol....I hope he does so he can bring the family back to visit until I can move to Oklahoma....lol..... He'll be baccccckkkkkk.....lol.....he don't EVEN wanna hear my mouth.... Thank you God for giving me another day of life....AMEN..... |
