Victor is my Brother-in-Law...well, actually, he is my first husband Lloyd's baby brother, but he's still my BIL, you know?? Sigma frat member, Bishop University grad...recently moved back to Denver from Cincinnati. He's a 6' 4", basketball playing lean machine! About 8 weeks ago my daughter called me and told me Vic was looking for somene to loc his hair, and she was about to send him to Estella....Now, Estella has some bomb locs, and can palmroll her bootay off!! But she is a die hard beeswax user!! I just couldn't let her do that to him, especially knowing how beeswax can coat your locs and cause buildup. So I told Vic I would start and maintain his locs...and he graciously accepted my offer!
Here's our routine... His hair is washed...thoroughly!!
I comb coil it with a rattail comb using a tiny dab of PK's natty cream...misting it with water continuously as I go along...
I lightly dry it with the a blow dryer...and VOILA!!! It's a done deal! He ties it up at night with a doo rag
I retwist his locs every two weeks, and in between, if he likes, he sprays it with PK's scalp cleanser.... His scalp is clean and does not itch, his babylocs and scalp are healthy and clean...there are NO FLAKES!!!
If Vic had known all the CRAZY stuff I had done in the past to MY locs he wouldn't have let me near his head..lol....but TRUST is a MUST with your loctician, and he trusts that I will maintain his locs the way they should be. He is my pet project...and his babylocs are beautiful! You can see the buds are already beginning to form. Can you say daez has finally reached maturity? I'll keep ya posted on his journey....Thanks Victor for putting your loc journey in my hands...
Thank you God for giving me another day of life.....AMEN....
